Terms of sale

Delivery

The delivery times made known to the buyer are estimates only and the seller is not be liable for late delivery or non-delivery. The seller is not liable for any loss, damage or delay occasioned to the buyer or its customers arising from late or non-delivery of the goods.

Standard shipping for all items vary depending on the weight, size and destination of the purchased items.

All merchandise ships within 2-5 business days from date of order. Depending on the item, shipping may take up to 5 - 10 working days for delivery of merchandise. In some rare circumstances, delivery may take 15 working days.

  
Ozbazaar.com is not responsible for delayed or non delivered items, although Ozbazaar.com we will be more than happy to investigate on your behalf to resolve any delivery matters. Please contact us if there are any issues relating to this subject. 
   

Ozbazaar.com endeavors to deliver your product within the estimated delivery times, the estimated delivery times are in business days (Monday to Friday). This excludes public holidays.

Loss or damage in transit    

The seller is not responsible to the buyer or any person claiming through the buyer for any loss or damage to goods in transit caused by any event of any kind by any person (whether or not the seller is legally responsible for the person who caused or contributed to that loss or damage).

Duty / Tax

Our products are shipped direct from our warehouse overseas in Asia. We do not stock any items in Australia to avoid double handling the products. This allows us to reduce costs which we then pass down to our customers.

Ozbazaar.com is not responsible  for any duty / tax or customs fees incurred. This is the responsibilty of the buyer. 

For Australian customers, Duty / Tax will be charged if the total value is greater than $1,000. 

Guarantee

If the goods are not manufactured by the seller the guarantee of the manufacturer of those goods is accepted by the buyer and is the only guarantee given to the buyer in respect of the goods.

The seller is not liable for and the buyer releases the seller from any claims in respect of faulty or defective design of any goods supplied.

The seller is not liable for physical or financial injury, loss or damage or for consequential loss or damage of any kind arising out of the supply, layout, assembly, installation or operation of the goods or arising out of the seller’s negligence or in any way whatsoever.

All branded electronics carry 30 days imited warranty. All branded electronics that ozbazaar.com sell are original and brand new.

The limited warranty covers the following faults described below.

DOA (Dead on Arrival) implies that the product either cannot be turned on or be ready in use after taking out of the box. Buyer must report this situation to ozbazaar.com within 48 hours of receipt. If the item is not tested or examined by the buyer within the first 48 hours after the goods are received, the DOA returned policy would not be valid.

No further exception will be considered about the time issue. The 48 hours period starts from the time recorded as "delivered" in the courier service's tracking system.

Ozbazaar.com will replace or repair a DOA item, In the event that a replacement or repair cannot be made due to product unavailability or any other technical reason, ozbazaar.com will refund the buyer in full including the original shipping charges. A repair order may take up to 14 business days starting from the day when ozbazaar.com received the defective unit. Ozbazaar.com has the right to make the final decision on whether a replacement or a repair process should be issued under any circumstances or situation.

Under any circumstances, ozbazaar.com reserves the final rights to approve any DOA replacement or a warranty coverage repair. Ozbazaar.com also has the right to make the final decision on whether the issue pointed out by the buyer is considering a defect or not. In the event that a replacement or repair is not granted to the buyer, ozbazaar.com will send back the product back to the buyer; In this case it is the duty of the buyer to cover shipping costs.

Prices

Payment

The purchase price in relation to goods is payable net and payment of the price of the goods must be made in full including delivery fee as specified at the time before the product is dispatched.

All personal information including credit card details and order details are handled with stringent confidentiality.

All payments made through Ozbazaar.com are encoded using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect data.

Please note that we are not responsible for any bank fees that may be incurred during a direct deposit purchase. It is the responsibility of the buyer to cover all bank fees incurred during direct deposit payments.

Return Policy

Our return policy only covers goods that are faulty or damaged in transit. Please select your items carefully as we do not refund or exchange due to “change of mind” or incorrect selection.

Any item that is faulty or damaged must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.

Products may only be returned within 14 days of delivery. Please contact us with your order number, description of your faulty or damaged item and attach relevant photos if possible. Any returns that do not have an order number will not be accepted.

Ozbazaar.com is not responsible for any items we do not receive. We suggest you obtain a tracking number for your returned goods to make sure nothing is lost in transit.

Mobile Phone Compatibility

All of our mobile phones are unlocked and work on all Australian networks including Optus, Telstra and Vodafone. Our mobile phones do not work with the "3" network. Some mobile phones may not be compatible with Telstra's Next G network. The Optus Zoo feature may not be available. This feature is available on handsets purchased through Optus. It is the buyers responsibility to check wether the mobile phone they intend on purchasing is compatible with their choice of network.

Some mobile phone like the Nokia N95 do not have the maps and guidance system (GPS) that are compatible within Australia. The mobile phones will work perfectly when making/receiving calls and messaging. 

A refund will not be given if your mobile phone is not compatible with a certain network or if the maps and guidance system are not compatible within your region.
